Great product, i was looking for such a software for hours. Only one thing: a graphical view of the waveform would be very useful the determine the exact volume and time for slicing.

An excellent product, very easy to use and effective. Unfortunately my very limited and occasional use only will make it hard to justify the cost of purchase especially with the low currency exchange rate of the NZ dollar.

A capable audio editor This editor is very capable and has some interesting features. I needed to eliminate audience clapping and add silence on a classical CD, so it served my purposes well. I can't discern the differences between what I downloaded ("free" version) and the "full"/pro version. For instance, the free version will write output files in formats that are only supported in the paid version (according to the web site). I would like to see a matrix of features versus software version. The same applies to the other integrated tools.

perfect, just the thing i was looking for

I was very pleased when i first downloaded the software. It did everything i wanted for a matter of a few hours. Then it began crashing. Everytime i tried to retrieve my saved files, and edit them they wouldn't appear. I removed and reinstalled the software, with the same result. There is a major glitch in this audio editor program. This would have been my new editing program if worked properly.

NOT FREE BUT LISTED AS FREEWARE. DON'T BOTHER.

The program is easy to use and has some great features but all the files I saved seem to have been corrupted and wouldn't open again or play in any program. If the program worked completely it would be perfect for my needs.

I downloaded the software three separate times, and each time Wavepad didn't work. I'm running OS X v10.4.11 on my MacBook Pro (Intel CPU). No dice. I was disappointed.

Seems like a good program but I was looking for a WMA editor and this does not recognize these files. Maybe next time.

I downloaded this just to clip out part of a music track. I figured out how to do it in a couple of minutes without reading a help file. I can see a lot more powerful features there, but I will probably never use them.Easy to drive! Well done!

I think it is an excellent product. Yet, I am a new comer in the field of editing audio records. Therefore, it takes time for me to understand how to use all the features. Basically, I am interested in improving the voices on recordings done in a not very friendly environment (lot of noise, different type of noises). So far I could get some results, but still need to work further, as the words cannot be understood all the time...As a conclusion, I am happy with this software, congratulations guys!

I found the product easy to install and to use. The problem I had was because the recording I was trying to edit was not of sufficient quality due to background noise so eliminting the noise also lost the genuine sound.

In particular, I wish to praise you for the transposing facility, which I needed so badly. I work with backtracks, but every voice is an individual one and some backtracks need to be transposed either up or down, to suit the voice. too much ads I didn't get what I want. I had issue with slow playing sound in Audacity and I've thought Wavepad can help me. But no, same problem in it.Too much ads in this program. And too many menus in Start. I'll uninstall it today.
